Description of the job purpose
In this role you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team and collaboratively help deliver omni-channel digital campaigns driving brand awareness and lead generation for our award-winning products and solutions.
The Web and Digital Marketing Executive is a pivotal role in optimising and managing online marketing activity, including website development, SEO, PPC and content. You will create new proposition webpages, working closely with content owners and agencies, as well as ensuring the CUK&I website is up to date. You will be responsible for managing all local SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase ranking on all major search networks. You will also co-ordinate all local SEM campaigns

You will:
Webpage scope and management
- Interrogate stakeholder briefs, scope the landing pages to increase brand awareness and demand generation.
- Develop, execute and manage the content and provide response to the brief, including; providing innovative design solutions to obtain better cut through, follows the brand’s tone of voice and brand guidelines, and that all enquiries are automatically directed to our lead queue.
- Generation and governance updating key B2B CUK&I webpages, including homepages, to ensure all content is current by liaising with wider (DPNS) Digital Print Solutions Marketing team.
- Localise and execute EMEA integrated content to nurture the UK market.
- Manage day-to-day website maintenance, including implementation, SEO checks, user journeys, and performance.
- Attend operation and website development meetings with Canon Europe and other NSOs. Collating key updates and presenting back to CUK marketing.
- Build key relationships with Management and stakeholders in Product, Sales, Customer proposition, Communication and Brand, and Digital Operations.
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & PPC (pay-per-click)
- Coordinate and implement all SEO activities to ensure all CUK&I B2B digital copy and landing pages are optimised for search engine optimisation.
- With Campaign Exec, develop all CTA gates via Asset generator tool and Gated content tool, and add to landing page briefs.
- Work with Campaign Executive to test and implement PPC strategies driving traffic to company pages.
- Liaise with Campaign Executive to set up vanity URLs e.g. for offline comms so that we track other marketing activity and link to the campaign (to optimise return on investment).
- With Campaign Executive, perform ongoing keyword research and web statistics reporting to monitor performance of webpages – including discovery and
- organic SEO success.
- Track and analyse results to identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search activities.
- Research competitor pages when reviewing SEO and Google rankings.
Digital marketing knowledge
- To continually develop personal knowledge of digital sphere and review with manager to ensure Canon integrates and executes latest and evolving digital marketing technologies as part of the campaign mix.
- Educate and encourage stakeholders to adopt new digital strategies/trends in future omni-channel expansion of keyword opportunities.
- Using Google Analytics and Lookerstudio, track and monitor webpage metrics to recommend updates so to improve SEO rankings – and review with wider team.
- Liaise with Project Owner and their stakeholders to implement content recommendations for campaigns.
Analysis and improvement
- Collaborate with Campaign Team Leader to review key metrics and analytics, make informed recommendations and propose actions for improvement to the business. Provide weekly reports on activities, measured against specific objectives – provide support and campaign consultancy to the wider DPNS Marketing team to ensure continued best practice.

Contracted hours are 37.5 hours over 5 days.
Hybrid Policy- 3 days from office, 2 days from home.

Further information
As the B2B Web & Digital Marketing Professional you will possess the following skills and expertise;
- At least 2 years’ experience delivering multichannel (preferably in a B2B environment) digital marketing activities with an understanding of different digital marketing techniques such as website development, SEO, paid social and paid search.
- A keen interest in new and emerging digital marketing techniques.
- Experience in search engine optimization, including Google Adwords.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating ideas to stakeholders and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to work independently, as well as a collaborative working style and team mentality so to engage your marketing colleagues in the development and implementation of digital marketing activities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work across multiple projects whilst delivering a high volume of quality work.
- Creative skills for contributing to new and innovative ideas.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics.
- A motivated self-starter with a desire to take personal responsibility of tasks and projects.
- Ability to work within a changing environment.
- Discretion when handling sensitive data and information.
A Marketing qualification is preferred.
