Job Purpose and Summary
Canon EMEA are looking for a Business Consultant, your responsibilities will include scoping services, seeking approval from the Service Portfolio Management, overseeing end-to-end development of services, enabling back-office systems, designing technical architecture, and supporting local Canon organisations in successfully selling and implementing services.
Service Requirements Discovery
Understand real business demand and opportunities.
- Gather refined MoSCoW requirements from stakeholders.
- Foster cross-functional relationships.
- Align central Operations with Canon local organisations.
- Present findings and recommendations for Steerco agreementÂ
Service Design
Build services meeting functional requirements.
- Develop specifications and operational design.
- Create comprehensive design documentation.
- Optimise Service operational costs.
- Ensure security and privacy compliance.Â
Service Transition
Support Pan-European/EMEA implementation.
- Manage Service Assets.
- Coordinate releases including POC / Pilot
- Facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Drive best practices.
 Service Operations and Improvements
Act as central competency area for standard process
- Manage Canon partners involved with service delivery.
- Escalation Process Management
- Gathering feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Implementing incremental quality and efficiency enhancement

What we ask
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Service Consultant, or equal
- Transition and Implementation experience with international project delivery.
- Project Management skills
- Understanding of best practices regarding IT Industry technologies and Security as well as print business/domain
- Ability to Drive & Manage Change.
- Must be able to proactively identify problem areas and provide or recommend solutions with corrective action plans.
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with stakeholders at all levels including C-Level.
- A team-player with well-developed social skills who feels comfortable in a multinational environment.
- Innovative and creative and eager to keep learning and finding solutions beyond expectations.
- Technical IT certifications
- Agile / PRINCE2 methodologies
- ITIL v3 Foundation
