Cluster Conference & Events Executive

The main purpose of this role is to assist the Sales Office Manager and Team to maintain consistent standards in all areas of the Conference Office, with the main aim being guest care and satisfaction.

Applicants must be able to proactively assist in managing Conference and Event sales to ensure the growth of the Conference and Corporate business. To be proactive in converting business for Sedgebrook Hall and Kettering Conference Centre. Converting enquiries into sales to maximise occupancy and revenue. To ensure all clients and potential clients receive a polite, professional and efficient service, whilst ensuring all hotel and company standards are maintained and all current legislation adhered to.

The successful applicant with be expected to manage key accounts and one-off events from initial enquiry to ensuring final details are completed, that the operations team are fully aware of all requirements and that the client’s event is a success. They will also be required to ensure follow up contact is made with all clients to secure future business. 

Applicants must be able to work as part of a team to ensure that all contact with customers and guests transpires to become a reflection of the hotel’s consistent delivery of the highest quality standards of product and service. 

Applicants must also be able to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by their Supervisors and Management Team as and when required.
