THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail oriented and curious finance analyst to join our finance team at our Shoreditch head office.

In this role you will be preparing management reporting for senior leaders across the business. You will have the opportunity to flex your analytical muscles through evaluating and challenging business decisions with a commercial and financial lens. Excellent communication skills are important in this role as you will spend time discussing your analysis with the wider business.

You will be a creative problem solver and an expert in all things digital. A lot of your time will be spent on excel, so it’s key you are a confident user.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Our finance team takes care of all financial and management reporting, taxation, cash management and treasury for the worldwide business. They partner with other teams to provide insight and drive commercial outcomes. In this role you will report into the commercial finance manager.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Producing management reports for distribution across the business
  • Managing and converting large datasets into concise, easy to use reports
  • Understanding the drivers of business performance
  • Assessing and articulating the commercial risks and opportunities to the business
  • Evaluating business decisions to assess the feasibility and potential return on investment
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Working with the wider business on ad hoc projects

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

  • Experience in a retail environment
  • An expert excel user
  • Experience working with BI tools
  • Analytical mindset with a head for numbers
  • Curiosity and the ability to ask questions
  • Ability to explain reports/analysis to the wider business
  • A meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A natural relationship builder
  • You are a creative problem solver
  • Ability to take that “extra step” to tackle a problem

ABOUT THE LOCATION

Based in our East London Studios in vibrant Shoreditch with perks and benefits offered from local businesses including discounts on food, shopping and health & beauty. Studio Location. Approximately a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street.
