Job Purpose and Summary

Canon EMEA are seeking a dedicated and skilled Contract & Risk Management Lead to join our dynamic B2B Digital Printing & Solutions team. In this role, you will drive the contracting process from award to signature, ensuring all time KPIs are met. You will be responsible for identifying and managing risk by developing effective mitigation strategies for new and existing contracts, mainly focused on Canon Global Services contracts, covering all regions globally (EMEA, Americas and APAC). As an integral player, you will own or significantly contribute to contract negotiations with clients. Additionally, you will innovate, implement, and manage processes to accelerate contracting, supporting faster business implementation and contributing to our company’s success.

In this role you will:

•Drive contracting process from award to signature to meet time KPIs
•Define contract finalisation strategy and works with relevant  subject matter experts in EMEA and other regions (EMEA, Americas and APAC) to build Canon position
•Be the owner of the contractingelement with the customer during the process. Define negotiation strategy and leads or supports others to secure acceptable position.
•Run the contracting process with clear deadlines and task owners to meet overall contract time targets
•Manage and involve key Canon stakeholders during key negotiations
•Ensure final contracts are stored with definitive versions and key changes available to all, including final and approved pricing (PDF)
•Identify and manage risk by building mitigation strategies for new and existing contracts
•Review new contracts for commercial and legal risks. Works with SME’s for approval or negotiation criteria to mitigate

•Review existing contracts looking for contract risk and works with BDM’s (Business Development Managers) or GAD’s (Global Account Directors)leads to build mitigation strategy in overall contract review / renewal
•Contributes to Canon risk appetite and boundaries for contracts
•Track cumulative risk on CGS (Canon Global Services) contracts and owns contract negotiations with clients
•Innovate, implement and manage processes to accelerate contracting to support faster business implementation
•Innovate and update Internal process flows and decision-making tools, to improve contracting in CGS EMEA and NSOs (National Sales Organisations)
•Share best practice
•Drive continuous improvement on Global Playbook with Canon INC, other Regions and Legal

Salary: up to £57,600 DOE plus a 10% bonus potential

What we ask

•University degree or a proven track record in contract management
•WCC (World Commerce and Contracting ) certified or equivalent
•Second language (French or German) an advantage

You will need

Canon Europe champions hybrid working as follows (3 days office / 2 days remote) coupled with a flexible core hours policy
