Job Purpose and Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate & Government Business Development Manager to join our Business-to-Business Sales & Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with corporate and government clients, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the office automation sector, focusing on corporate clients, large enterprises, and government entities.
  • Global Account Management: Manage and expand relationships with Canon Global Accounts, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships  with key decision-makers, understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Solution Selling: Present office automation solutions, including hardware, software, and services, aligning offerings with client needs.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product marketing, Finance and service, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • CRM Utilization: Leverage Salesforce CRM to manage client interactions, track sales activities, and generate insightful reports.
  • Reporting: Monitor sales metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to senior management.

What we ask

  • Education:   Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the office automation, technology or related industry.

    • Experience presenting to C-level executives and other senior decision-makers.
