A fantastic opportunity is available for a proven Customer Marketing Executive to join the ITCG CUK Marketing team for one year as Maternity Cover.

As an active member of the Channel Marketing team for Photo Specialists, your key focus will be on creating and implementing training content and activities on Canon products, services and technology at Channel and Customer level to optimise conversion, identify and implement events or activities that unlock increased knowledge or sales conversion, develop and build strong relationships with your accounts, and as part of marketing team you will ensure you optimise marketing investment and increase share of shelf and basket value for both the retailers and Canon.

Ultimately you need to ensure Photo Specialists stores have the tools to attract and move customers from considering Canon to buying Canon, in store and at events.

Your ability to collaborate with the teams of both technical product specialists and marketing professionals, demonstrate passion and drive whilst maintaining great customer relationships will be crucial to your success in this role.

What we ask

Plan, resource and implement channel support/activities, either direct or indirect ensuring that all resource deployment has clear KPIs and ROI and reporting is provided to key stakeholders on performance and is line with budget allocations.

Adapt, create, and implement regular channel and customer training or knowledge-based programs/activities, either virtually or in person, to align with business strategy and priorities.

Build strong relationships with Accounts stores/Resellers/Distributors staff with regular store visits to keep Canon font of mind and ensure staff is up to date with Canon latest information.

Demonstrate and advocate Canon products, technology, and services both internally and with channel and customers.

Audit and feedback accreditation compliance, knowledge, and skills levels at regular intervals to ensure the channel is performing in line with Canon’s central and local strategy.

Roll-out incentive and motivation programs within channel to achieve desired sell out targets.

Act on mystery shopping feedback for relevant channels and create improvement plan where required to ensure the instore and online customer experience meets the expectation of Canon’s central and local strategy and guideline.
