Canon UK are looking for a customer-focused individual to play a fundamental role in the day-to-day operations of the Customer
Profitability team. This is a rare opportunity to join Canon’s profitability team located in our Stockley Park offices in London.
The successful candidate will be:
Responsible for managing the strategic planning process and framework for the Canon UK & Ireland organization. Working in collaboration with the business units to deliver a robust and timely Customer Profitability review process, including facilitation of the plan creation, ongoing measurement of success against defined action plan. Support the Canon UK & Ireland business to translate the Customer Profitability strategy into actionable and measurable initiatives.

What we ask
You will:
- Develop & Manage the Customer Profitability strategic framework for Canon UK&Ireland along with Managing Director, Exec team, BU Heads, Biz.Ops, Finance, and Canon Europe Customer Profitability Project group. This includes relevant documentation, working practices and reporting cadence.
- Provide Customer Profitability data insight and intelligence to inform the strategic decisions made by Canon UK&Ireland, maximize use of the pan-European Customer profitability BI tooling, plus any local profitability reporting, including training and implementation of new functionality and insights
- Build the strategic Customer Profitability improvement plan with each of the BUs & support functions. Arrange/facilitate regular workshops to build these headline strategic plans. Manage to construct the documentation and ultimately track performance and delivery
- Manage communication process for the Customer Profitability improvement plans across the Canon UK&Ireland organisation. Includes presentations at relevant Exec, Ops & BU Management meetings
- Act as liaison point between the Customer Profitability working group and the strategic programme managers to align on project delivery also as part of the overall E2E process improvement
- Liaise with Canon Europe colleagues to provide regular updates and be involved in best practice sharing
- Ad-hoc project management tasks on behalf of the DP&S Business Administration where capacity allows
- Performance Measures: Delivery of well managed (timely, clear deliverables, completed actions) Customer Profitability improvement plans for Canon UK&Ireland. Sign off for the Customer Profitability improvement plans from BU Heads & MD.
