Portico are currently recruiting for an Events Manager based in the heart of the city.

The comprehensive role of our new Events Manager will be to predominantly look after a flexible events space product, and support with the running of flexible office operations across London. 

They will actively monitor the events sales pipeline and convert leads, execute events operations from conception to delivery, and gather feedback afterwards. To do this, they will need to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants of the building and the events support team. Managing all financial budgets, the Events Manager will also lead on marketing the space and oversee a Community Manager

Shifts: 40 hours from 8am-5pm, with flexibility to work weekends and evenings being essential
Salary: £45,000

The ideal candidate for the Events Manager role will need to have excellent communication, administration, and organisational skills. They will need to work well within a busy, team-orientated environment with a natural ability to evaluate priorities, implement efficiencies and coordinate different departments and services to deliver an exceptional and seamless experience for our customers.

They will be technically capable, with the ability to understand and work with the variety of AV equipment and software applications that support the spaces and our customers. 

They will be a self-starter who is keen to share their ideas and innovations to support the growth of the flexible office and events solution and bring them to fruition. 

Ideally, the successful Events Manager will have extensive experience in a similar type of role and consider themselves a specialist in the events sales function and customer experience management. They will have a proven track record of achieving outstanding customer satisfaction and reaching agreed revenue targets. 

An alcohol licence is desirable but not essential.
