Job Purpose and Summary
The Financial analyst will play a key support role in supporting the Financial Accounting Manager, achieving all deliverables in a timely and efficient way. The focus of the role is on management of JDE accounting, helping with inventory, collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders
What we give
- Ensuring proper accounting in compliance with legal and internal guidelines to ensure correct monthly, quarterly and annual submissions in accordance with US GAAP and local accounting requirements
- Will be responsible for providing insight, analysis, and commentary on balance sheet performance, aiming to influence and drive decisions that improve the balance sheet position.
- Responsible for the timely preparation of month end JDE accounts for UK and subsidiaries.
- Build a strong understanding of finance systems especially JDE and international accounting standards
- Help financial accountant with inventory reconciliation and clean up
- Liaise directly with auditors to respond to audit queries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Preparation of the USGaap balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Provide commentary on variances verses prior year, investigate discrepancies and rectify in timely manner
- Continuous Improvement, actively reviewing internal processes with a view to continually improving them, identifying areas for optimisation
- Supporting the accounting manager with monthly and adhoc tasks as required

What we ask
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA) or studying towards accounting qualification
- Advanced Excel skills, macro knowledge will be advantageous
- Experience using different IT systems
