Job Purpose and Summary
Employee is required in order to take over the business & administration FA (fixed assets) management and full control. Participation in implementiaon as a key person dedicated for this assignment.
What we give
- Performing accounting duties and month-end closing referring to GL and FA related transactions, including operating and financial leasing,
- Monitor and process fixed assets transactions (asset acquisitions, transfers, retirements) for three standards: statutory, tax and Group (US GAAP),
- Establish depreciation rates, calculate and execute depreciation for all fixed assets,
- Support new transitions and standardization of the process,
- Verification of prepayments and final invoices regarding fixed assets,
- Participating in the process of the tax calculation,
- Performance of ad-hoc analysis, reports, follow-ups with finance teams (e.g. CAPEX),
- Participating in the implementation, testing and verification of compliance with Polish tax and accounting regulations of the new ERP system (ORACLE),
- Coordinating meetings/conversations with the ORACLE team in English
What we ask
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics,
- Fluent Polish & English (both spoken and written for everyday work);
- Good knowledge of accounting principles (particularly FA area)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly in MS Excel,
OPTIONAL:
- Experience in maintenance of fixed assets master data
- Experience in financial and operating leasing area
- Experience in working of the accounting environment of SSC or in an Accounting Office
- Knowledge of VAT/EU VAT issues
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Knowledge of ERP Oracle system
