Skipton Business Finance are currently looking for amotivated individual who is passionate about technology to join them as theirnew Head of IT Infrastructure & Data Analytics. The main purpose of thisrole is to ensure delivery of IT solutions and the creation and ongoingdevelopment of reporting & analytical outputs that support achievement ofSBF’s strategic objectives.
The role will support the delivery of IT change initiativesthrough close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external suppliers andthe wider Society’s IT SSC. This role will work closely with the Operationalboard and senior Manager’s to develop an IT Vision and Strategy that links ITobjectives with business goals and client experience.
This role will be responsible for the development andongoing enhancement of the organisations reporting and analytical outputs froma number of software platforms. This will be achieved through gaining a broadunderstanding of internal stakeholders’ priorities, corporate objectives anddata & analytics capabilities to proactively provide high valueself-service solutions that drive more insightful decision making.
A key responsibility of this role will be to proactivelywork with internal stakeholders and external IT providers to identify opportunitiesto utilise technology to streamline existing processes and activities whilstalso being mindful of risk requirements.
We’re looking for someone with strong peopleandcommunication capabilities, including the ability to influence seniorstakeholders both inside and outside the Skipton Group. You will have a clearfocus on service delivery and a strong technical understanding.
Key experienceincludes: – Leading a Data & Analytics team in a Financial Services organisation – Using key Data & Analytic coding and packages, such as SQL coding, Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint etc – Engaging with internal stakeholders to deliver self-service dashboards and data outputs – Business case creation, benefit identification, planning and management – Interpreting business objectives and identifying opportunities and impacts for your department – Working with programmes and projects that have multiple workstreams – Working with both technical and non-technical teams across a variety of business domains
