HeadStart South Tees was established in 2013 to support the emotional well-being of children and young people across South Tees by improving their resilience to better cope in life.

Good emotional health is essential for children and young people to achieve good outcomes and enjoy life and an opportunity has arisen to join the existing team in delivering a resilience curriculum within schools and the community. Supported by the team you will provide support to children and young people across South Tees and deliver a range of group interventions.

Full training will be given however experience of working with children and young people is essential along with good team working skills. As partnership working is an integral part of the job experience of working within a school, health. community or local authority would be beneficial. If you are passionate about improving children and young peoples outcomes and would like to work within a vibrant and efficient team we would welcome an application!

Please note, this is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2026.
