Job Purpose and Summary
Canon are looking for a passionate HR Operations Specialist to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support using expertise in HR related matters and providing support to the HRBP’s and the Business. This role will be a FTC for 9 months.

Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 dependent on experience.

What we ask
As a HR Operations Specialist you will:
- Process all required information and documentation for starters, internal moves & leavers, track employee documentation such as sickness notes, maternity/paternity.
- Maintain and manage accurate employee files including timely scanning of documents into electronic employee files.
- Prepare information for payroll in advance of agreed cut-off dates.
- The data management aspect of the role, you will upload accurate HR data through timely updates into HR Oracle & other HR systems (training given).
- Ad-hoc support with producing employee letters e.g. during restructures.
- Produce reports e.g headcount, performance, absence as appropriate to be used by HR and ensure that all records are maintained accurately to support SOX compliance and other documentation required for audit purposes.
- In addition there will be the opportunity to be involved with HR projects that relate to people management and administration, including HR systems related projects.
- Act as point of contact for employee queries regarding absence, contracts, payroll etc. and escalate to the HRBP where necessary
- Support HRBPs with induction for new employees
