 We are recruiting for a

Field Service Engineer (f/m/d) IP Semiconductor  

We provide on-site repair support and remote repair support for PVD semiconductor devices based in Germany, Belgium, and France.

We make proposals for maintaining product performance and improving products.

We provide advice and support for customer requests and questions.

Through these activities, we will increase customer satisfaction and expand our business.

 

Was wir bieten

You will be in charge of all operations involved in the field service (specific work content) like

  • troubleshooting (on call and customer onsite support)
  • tool maintenance, modification and software upgrade work.
  • providing training for customers (tool operation and periodic maintenance).
  • creating reports at customers site work
  • consulting with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance
  • advise of management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements
  • supervision of workers in testing, tuning and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum operating performance
  • study of schematics, manuals and other specifications to determine installation procedures
  • part inventory management

Wen wir suchen

  • apprenticeship or degree in mechatronics / electronics / electrical engineering or similar
  • able to interpret maintenance manuals and schematics
  • able to repair highly sophisticated and complex equipment by utilizing knowledge of electronics and mechanics by using standard test instruments and hand tools   
  • knowledge of standard and high vacuum technology
  • knowledge of standard and cleanroom safety
  • experience of semiconductor equipment and cleanroom environment

  • ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules
  • polite and social character
  • comfortable of working in a multicultural environment with people from different nationalities and backgrounds
  • ability to communicate fluent in German and English, French desirable
  • knowledge of standard software applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • availability for frequent business trips (Oversea / Europe)
