Canon EMEA is looking for an IT Operational Problem Manager E2E to drive and help implement improvements in IT operations across all domains and business functions. This role will be part of the Solution & Adoption department, who is, within the ICT organization, responsible for application delivery & application operations for the Canon EMEA region. The Solution & Adoption department is built up from various domains, such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Contract Management.
This role is positioned in the E2E Operations domain. Within this key role you will be responsible for:
- Holistic end-to-end problem management, across all the domains, focusing prioritizing and removing workarounds and recurring issues, and eliminating compliance issues.
- and will focus on improving business operations efficiency by structural reduction of tickets and removing inefficiencies

As an IT Operational Problem Manager E2E, you will:
- Identify and drive, across all the domains, the key improvement areas that increase business operations efficiency
- Structurally improve reduction of tickets by driving solid Problem management and root cause analysis thus reducing repetitive tickets E2E
- Help the Solution & Adoption director to identify the priority areas for operational improvements across all domains that leads to cost reduction in IT and business and increase business and IT Operations efficiency
- Drive zero deficiency objectives by bringing automation and or process improvements e2e in the Solution & Adoption department
- Help develop implementation plans including budget and timelines. Compare operational progress against planned objectives and suggest corrective actions for variances
- Review information to identify risks and opportunities and present it to the key stakeholders
- Work with the central Business Process Managers team, our national/regional sales organizations and business competence centers to identify the key business pain areas and help bring them to solutions with right stakeholders in Solution and Adoption department

As an IT Operational Problem Manager E2E, you will need:
- Exceptional problem-solving and sound-decision making capabilities, recognized by alternative solutions, and confident, accurate, decision-making coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Oracle ERP (or equivalent) in a complex, best-of-breed landscape, being able to understand both the IT and business usage
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Background in defining improvements and making the improvements realize with clear ROI
- Relevant functional/technical experience in driving application operations across different business functions
- Adept at optimizing functional performance of IT application operations
- The ability to organize and lead meetings, set out actions and perform progress control on deliverables. Be the escalation point for issues which are raised by project team members.
- Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization
- Provides specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
- Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices
- Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
