Following Saga’s recent announcement to partner with Ageas in early 2026, you will be responsible for supporting with the overall Marketing transition plan working alongside our new partner.
Saga Insurance is embarking on an exciting new partnership with Ageas to offer Car & Home insurance. To prepare for this, there is a programme of work across the next twelve months that needs to be supported within the Insurance Marketing team.
This role will focus on delivering the required marketing material across the partnership to enable the launch. This will involve working closely with the Ageas team to review all new material as it is produced and support the Saga marketing team as we begin to update all existing assets.
This role will report to the Marketing Manager; Creative & Planning and will also support the Marketing Manager leading the Ageas project for Insurance Marketing. You’ll also face into other teams across the business including Brand, Risk & Product.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a creative edge, where you can champion the customer every day. You will be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management, can collaborate with a wide range of interested parties and be able showcase presentation skills to drive performance and innovation.
Role Responsibility
- Manage the day-to-day requirements of the Marketing deliverables for the Ageas partnership launch for all marketing material
- Ensure the on-time delivery of all marketing requirements, to support the wider Programme team in delivering the project to time, to a regulated approved standard and within budget
- Prioritise and maintain the Marketing development requirements/backlog, ensuring the Marketing Manager; Creative & Planning is fully briefed on all aspects of the project
- Review all changes to identify impact to Marketing and ensure they meet requirements, working closely with wider teams across the business to balance multiple deliverables
- Coordinate with IT to ensure smooth execution of project timeline
- Coordinate and handle marketing material approvals to a regulative industry standard from stakeholders via an internal circulation process
- Delve into insight feeds to inform and serve future activity
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a creative, marketing materials and asset management.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
- Solid understanding of the marketing material development process.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with various levels within the organisation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies would be advantageous
- Naturally curious and creative individual; able to think around problems
- Organised with the ability to juggle multiple activities
- Be able to think outside the box and self solution seek
- A rigorous and logical thinker to aid with decision making
- High levels of drive, enthusiasm, and energy
- Consistently challenges and raises the bar on business and employee performance
- Commercially minded, with a strong ‘results led’ focus
- Knowledge of generalist marketing practice
- Regulated environment experience would be highly advantageous
