Because Portico are currently on the lookout for a talented Meetings & Events Planner, who will be responsible for coordinating all events and priority bookings taking place within the auditor’s London locations. The M&E Planner will also provide direction and support across all the auditor’s UK locations, assisting our client’s team and service partners with large and VIP bookings, both remotely and in person.
We are looking for a passionate, driven, confident and team focused events specialist who will relish the opportunity to really show what they can do in this challenging role. They will possess the ability to forge and maintain client relationships, manage multiple events and priorities at once, know what 5 star service looks like and how to deliver it, and meet financial targets.
Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, shifts from 8:30am-6pm Monday-Friday. With flexibility for events
Salary: £33,500
The M&E Planner will be a confident communicator and have an ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines, working both under their own initiative and as part of the wider team. They will have amazing organisation skills and a strong attention to detail to be comfortable in dealing with multiple interconnecting elements of event preparation.
The successful candidate must have experience of working in a similar fast paced events role within a corporate or hotel environment. An events management degree would be beneficial but not essential for the role.
