…And right now, we are looking for a Network Engineer to work in the Technology team at an exciting time in Saga’s history. As a Group, Saga is taking to the seas in our brand new, luxury cruise ships, leading the market with innovative insurance and financial products.  

You will be responsible for the network support of business services, such as Azure, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, along with remote access technologies. You will bring strong Azure networking with proven current hands-on experience.

If you have experience of networking in Azure, Extreme Networks and some Checkpoint then we would be very keen to hear from you!

Your top 5 responsibilities are: 

  • The implementation, maintenance and support of our corporate networking technologies, including remote access technology.
  • Supporting technology development through the business change process. 
  • Provide on call and out of hours support.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve technical controls and address system vulnerabilities. 
  • Continually looking for innovative ways to improve service and customer / colleague experience.
  • Technical Skills: Azure, Extreme Networks, Checkpoint.
  • Project engineering experience.
  • Network security best practices.
  • Current experience of large corporate hybrid networking.
  • Broad knowledge of Cyber Security threats and countermeasures.  
  • Foundational understanding of cyber-attack techniques. 
  • Communications skills. 
  • Stakeholder Management skills. 
  • Industry Certifications.
