In March 2023, Publicis Media won the Adobe business for Europe, APAC, and Japan. We have established the Adobe.pub team to act as a seamless extension of the Adobe marketing team. Adobe.pub sits within the Zenith Global team and benefits from the opportunity, infrastructure and culture of one of the best international agencies in London. The EMEA team, which has 70 members spread across London and India, covers all EMEA activity, from establishing strategy to media planning, activating media across digital channels, and reporting on campaign results. We handle both performance and upper funnel activity and are dedicated to creating full-funnel strategies to maximise Adobe’s digital engagement.

About the opportunity…

We are looking for an experienced Paid Social Business Director to lead the paid social output for Adobe in EMEA. This role will report into the Head of Paid Social within the Zenith Global Paid Social team; a rapidly growly and successful team of 100+ paid social experts. The role will lead a team of 11; five in London and six in India. This is an opportunity to work with one of the world’s finest global technology firms in a freshly formed team dedicated to delivering the greatest digital marketing in the world. It is an interesting, dynamic, and diverse workplace in which to manage significant budgets and learn from the top practitioners. We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and be able to motivate, educate and aid the development of other members of the team. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to ‘hit the ground running’, and for the most part be able to manage their team and workload autonomously.

About the work…

This role will deliver on:

  • Strategic Thought Leadership: Devises, implements and delivers innovative Paid Social strategy. Responsible for refining strategic approach across the account by designing a measurement roadmap, overseeing the execution of test & learns, pitching activity on new platforms, running alpha/betas and securing agency or category firsts. Leads on client education of all channel/market developments and oversees the planning output of the team.
  • Account Growth & Maturity: Grows and develops the account, increasing performance as well as efficiency of output. Proactive in identifying opportunities to diversify revenue via upselling other Groupe services, proprietary products and solutions. 
  • Team Management: Leads, motivates and inspires direct and indirect reports. Responsive to change by regularly reviewing and optimizing team structure and processes to ensure the team are able to effectively manage both new and future client demands, while ensuring opportunities to grow and develop talent on the account. 
  • Build a Centre of Excellence: Achieves in depth understanding of client business objectives and priorities and how to achieve them. Designs better ways of working to achieve client aims/ satisfaction/ targets. Identifies, devises and utilizes quality processes, initiatives and tools, resulting in a consistent and efficient approach.


  • Currently at Business Director or Director level in a Paid Social team (c. 5-10 years working in paid social) 
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior clients
  • Experience planning, managing and activating large-scale, multi-market brand and performance campaigns on all global Paid Social platforms
  • Experience working with tech partners, brand safety, verification and data providers, such as Adobe Analytics, Sprinklr, Smartly, DV, IAS, Moat, Nielsen etc. 
  • Experience managing a team of c. 10 people in a hybrid structure: developing team organisational and operational approach, hiring and developing talent, training, conducting appraisals and performance management
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of first and third party measurement solutions and up to date with incoming industry changes around privacy and identity
  • Be strategic and commercially minded in planning goals for their teams as well as being able to shape and develop a biddable strategy and drive business priorities of the agency
  • Up to date certifications across all social platforms
