An exciting and impactful opportunity has arisen to shape the development of our new curriculum of our 1:1 provision for 7 pupils with complex special needs such as SEMH & Autism. We are looking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic curriculum co-ordinator for our Pathways Programme. The successful candidate will lead a team of around 9 staff to support the pupils.
The Pathways Programme provides a highly bespoke education for a wide variety of secondary aged pupils all of whom have a statement of SEN for complex needs, usually a combination of SEMH, MLD and Autistic traits.
Whilst the main focus of the curriculum offered is English, Maths, and PSHCE other curriculum areas are included for pupils as appropriate and creativity and flexibility are key. Engagement in education is one of the critical factors.
