The Procurement Systems Analyst will be responsible for technical support and testing of the indirect purchasing systems (Ariba & SAP). They will work closely with the offshore technical team and third party support to ensure the systems are working effectively and efficiently. They will assist with maintenance, upgrades and error resolutions. They will support their immediate team and the wider business, alongside this they will always be looking to proactively identify process/system improvements and will lead projects to implement. 




•    There are a number of different key responsibilities within the Procurement PO Administrator role, which are outlined below:
Procurement Systems Analyst
•    Maintaining Ariba and SAP system, ensuring data is in sync.
•    Supporting internal customers with technical queries/error support.
•    Responsible for managing Procurement system access.
•    Working alongside offshore teams to support in integration, testing and upgrades of Procurement systems.
•    Actively involved in identifying and implementing process improvements.
•    Working with Procurement Operations and IT to support testing of SAP and Ariba.
•    Undertake knowledge sharing and training within Procurement Operations and the wider business. 


•    Assist in driving compliance by ensuring that Procurement policies, procedures and methodologies are being followed
•    Partner with business & Finance on a regular basis to ensure continuous process improvement
•    Provide 2nd Line support to buyers

Continuous improvement

•    Apply understanding of assigned business process to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures
•    Work closely with the process owner and team lead to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practicalities and exceptions



Qualifications & Experience

•    Degree level or equivalent
•    Experience with SAP, SAP/ARIBA & SLP (required)
•    Experience in Procurement/purchasing 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to inspire trust and confidence 
•    High level of competence in MS Office products (Word, Excel)
•    Good commercial awareness with an understanding of the retail industry

•    Ability to adopt a customer-centric approach ensuring that the business stakeholders are satisfied with the service delivered
