Job Purpose and Summary
Are you looking to develop into Management while maintaining and sharing your Project Management skills and knowledge? Work in a team that value and implement a defined project management methodology to ensure project success (Predominantly Prince2 at Canon).
We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Team Leader to join our team at Canon. As a Team Leader, you will be solely responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion, but also spend a significant proportion of your week managing others in the Project Office to do the same and support the team, you will work closely with the team to support their development and build a capable high performing Project Office.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about project management and people management, and who are eager to develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

– Managing a group of Junior Project Managers and Project Supports, coaching them to deliver excellent projects with the skills and knowledge you have built from a successful Project Management Career.
– Part of your week will also be to deliver your own projects to maintain your skills and maintain first hand exposure to project delivery which will enable you to improve processes and better support the team.

What we ask
As a Project Office Team Leader you will possess the following skills and expertise:
 Experience working in a Project Office as a Project Manager, and proven track record of delivering excellent customer experience.
– Ideally experience managing a team.
– Excellent organisation skills.
– Exceptional communication skills and exemplary listening skills – and ability to manage project members assertively and politely to drive tasks and actions.
– Ambitious and driven – with a desire to work in a high performing team and a focus on personal KPIs and results.
– Strong time management skills to manage multiple projects and your team.
– Project Management training – ideally Prince2 Practioner.

Salary – £49,140 – £51,870 (+10% bonus)
Location – Hybrid – Stockley Park, Uxbridge
