Registered Mental Health Nurse
Location: Cedar House Hospital – Barham, Kent
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £17.14 up to £17.47 depending on experience
Cedar House Hospital, part of CareTech’s Specialist Services Division, is now recruiting for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary along with training & development opportunities.
Based in Barham, near Canterbury, Cedar House provides expert, person-centred assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with a mild to moderate learning disability or autism and associated mental health or behavioural support needs.
The successful applicant for this role will be a registered Mental Health Nurse or RNLD and have a valid NMC pin. We are looking for candidates with experience within a similar role.
Requirements:
- RMN or RNLD qualified
- NMC registered
The Role:
- Adopt a professional approach to patient/resident care at all times.
- Be required to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, members of the multi-disciplinary care team and senior professional and Managerial staff
- Conform at all times to the Policies and Procedures of the Company, with particular regard to confidentiality,financialandadministrativeresponsibilitiesandpreventionofhealthcare-associated infection (HCAI); this includes a requirement for rigorous and consistent compliancewithpoliciesforhandhygiene,useofpersonalprotectiveequipmentandsafe disposals of sharps (where deemed relevant to the role).
- Maintain and support all quality initiatives and objectives introduced into the organisation.
- To be familiar and comply with the service Business Continuity Plan in case of an emergency.
- Take personal responsibility for ensuring that The Caretech Group resources are used efficiently and with minimum wastage
- Have access to a wide range of confidential information about patients, staff and The Caretech Group which must not be divulged to any unauthorised person in any circumstances at any time in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures in
- Protection Regulations (GDPR).
