What you’ll be doing:
We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Universities on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- To build, lead and manage an effective team of variable personnel.
- Assist with the training and development of the team.
- Management and development of relevant personnel, providing inspiration and leadership to deliver exceptional service.
- Work with the management team to develop and maintain a high level of team energy and engagement, focused on delivering great food and drink.
- You will be responsible for the University shops and a Subway franchise including having a full understanding of the Epos system as well as full responsibility for management of all Compass operating systems.
- Recognise and celebrate success.
Who you are:
- NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 or equivalent Immediate Food Hygiene certificate
- Experience of leading and managing a small team of people Minimum 4 years retail / catering experience
- Excellent financial acumen IT literate
- Strong communication skills – able to communicate at all levels Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work to strict pressured deadlines.
