Job Purpose and Summary

Canon are looking for a Sales Operations, Compliance & Controls Senior Specialist to join the B2B team overseeing and coordinating overall compliance, sales contracts, and governance related processes across the team to improve efficiency.

You will act as the key link, working with colleagues between Operations, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams.

Salary: £48,009 – £57,153 dependent on experience plus a 10% annual bonus.

What we ask

As the Sales Operations, Compliance & Controls Senior Specialist you will:

  • Develop and implement effective compliance processes and controls, to manage risks across the sales Operations area.
  • Actively consult with the business to advise and ensure appropriate commercial decisions are being made in time and in line with policy.
  • Own the ITCG (Imaging Technologies & Communications Group) commercial model and ensure smooth communication across the sales region.
  • Coaching junior members and supporting the team with specific projects and tasks that have been allocated in associated area.
  • Communicate value generated by the Governance team.
  • Carry out presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Own relationship and maintain regular contact with external suppliers such as brand protection agency / Mystery shoppers and coordinate relevant programs across the sales regions – defines tools and reporting requirements.
  • Maintaining regular contact with internal Audit and Finance teams to ensure alignment and ensuring SOX standards are met. Flag any issues that arise to senior management and propose solutions.
  • Developing and monitoring of governance and control frameworks related to sales operations including RCM (Risk Control Matrix).
  • Execute and document SOX testing in collaboration with wider team.
  • Monitoring, brand investigating and carrying out corrective audits and actions with legal teams to improve the situation.Owns sales contract templates and coordinates with legal and local regions to provide the annual update.
  • Owns ITCG reseller watchlist and communicates progress to the wider team.
  • Responsible for maintaining the selective distribution agreements, commercial model documents and promotional mapping tables in line with product and sales strategy.
