Role & Department

Canon EMEA is looking for a Semiconductor Administration and Sales Support in the Semiconductor Equipment department. The overall purpose of this role are sales related activities and administration. You will work closely with internal stakeholders like sales and engineering in the Semiconductor and financial team. In addition, you will work together with service offices in Europe, Canon Inc., two bigger, and around 30 other companies.

What we give


Merchandise items Controller:

  • Create and keep accurate main body population control / report
  • Informing and supporting Canon Inc. for all delivery related matters
  • Sales and budget related queries with stakeholders and arrange efficient meetings throughout the year

Administration System Operation

  • Oracle (R11, R12) MDM, PDH, other system operation, issue invoice
  • Update and improve your activity by using SPP (Share Point Port)
  • Create the monthly drop shipment data for Inbound team (Excel)
  • Create Master Part List using App Access
  • Back up Administration Support for Anelva Division (ultra-high vacuum technology)
  • Registration and setup of new customer


  • Booking flights and restaurants for business trips
  • Arrange and support meetings


Budget related

  • Quarterly & Monthly financial budget review and modification
  • Preparing budget and actual sales report to Canon Inc. based on every budget review (monthly)
  • Preparing Provision and Fixed Asset
  • Preparing the budget figure for the monthly president report

Other budget related activities:

  • Proactive action in order to achieve budget
  • Create basic information (according to budget related rules) and store in SPP
  • OFA (Oracle Financial Analyzer, budgetary system) input and update
  • Communication with Finance team and NSO (National Sales Office)

SALES Support:

  • Act as a Sales Support, prepare the quotation, check the purchase order and contract from customer, and issue the confirmation letter
  • Communication with internal organization, like Finance, (Budget, VAT) , Logistics (Trade Term, export, import) and IT (Oracle, etc.)
  • Gather and update market information
  • Create and update customer organization chart
  • Carry out smooth daily communication and enhance relationship with customers
  • Act within service level agreements to complaints of customers

What we ask

For this role, you will have:

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in sales position
  • Excellent communication in English and Japanese for reading and writing
  • Willing to learn semiconductor industry and equipment
  • Good skills in MS Office applications
  • Willing & able to travel in Europe and Asia
