Job Description
Renishaw are seeking to recruit a Senior Marketing Executive to support the commercial activities of our Spectroscopy Products Division through digital marketing. The role will involve creating B2B marketing projects that align with the company’s products (cutting edge scientific instrumentation), overall objectives and target audience.
As the Senior Marketing Executive you will be highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a team and has experience in marketing automation campaigns, using SEO principles and customer journey mapping to create and deliver engaging projects.
Salary £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience. Please note that this role is under a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days/week onsite.
Responsibilities

Create engaging, interactive social media posts and continue to grow key channels.

Assist the Marketing Manager to deliver the marketing strategy and contribute new ideas in planning sessions.

Manage marketing events and webinars.

Support with the creation of email automation journeys to nurture prospects.

Produce email campaigns, forms and update marketing lists

Produce web content, building forms, ensuring optimisation for SEO and user experience.

Track, analyse and report on key performance metrics and help to identify areas for optimisation.

Support with the design of product and promotional literature, including brochures, product notes, exhibition graphics, and visuals for online channels.
Key requirements

Experience with marketing automation systems, email marketing, nurturing campaign, evergreen funnels using Marketo and/or Hubspot

Understanding of advanced SEO principles and tools like SEMrush or similar to optimise content and improve organic search rankings

Experience of working with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and UTM links

Understanding of key marketing metrics

Social Media Marketing experience

Familiarity with web-content management systems, website promotion and metric analysis

A high level of general computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office/Adobe software suites

A keen interest in science and technology
Desirable requirements

Proven track record of delivering marketing campaigns that perform against targets

Good understanding of customer behaviour, market research, and customer segmentation

Practical experience in setting up marketing campaigns, optimisation and reporting on results

Experience in business-to-business and/or scientific marketing.

Scientific background or knowledge of the scientific instrumentation market

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing content without 3rd party editing.

Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use data to inform marketing decisions.

Ability to plan your own work and take responsibility for project completion.

Ability to meet deadlines, good attention to detail, and multi-tasking.

Be a lover of trying/testing new ways of doing things, be resourceful, willing to learn new skills, and able to problem solve.

The ability to plan well and work on multiple concurrent projects, both as an individual and as a team member.
