Job Title: Student Recruitment Manager
Salary: Commencing at £34,347 with progression to £36,437 per annum
About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team delivering on-campus, online, and external student recruitment events and activities.
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment event and activity plans that align with our marketing and recruitment goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key schools, colleges, and community groups.
  • Provide expert advice on event logistics, strategy, and best practices to internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the recruitment and training of student ambassadors.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of events, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and impactful activities.
  • Represent our institutions at external conferences and industry events.
  • This role involves some evening and weekend work, plus UK-wide travel.

About You

  • Proven experience in event planning and management, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Strong people management skills, with experience leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent project management abilities, ensuring smooth and efficient event delivery.
  • A customer-focused approach, with the ability to engage and inspire prospective students via our marketing material.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing budgets and evaluating event success.
  • A creative, problem-solving mindset to enhance event innovation.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in student recruitment.
  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) is essential.
