Job Title: Teaching Facilitator – Carpentry and Joinery
Salary: Commencing at £27,957 with progression to £29,638 per annum
About the Role
What You Will Do
- Prepare for and deliver classes to student groups, with clear intentions and well-defined outcomes.
- Deliver taught classes in our well equipped College and workshops.
- Manage student progress and achievement.
- Evaluate students’ work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Participate in personal development, working to develop your own professional knowledge and skill set.
About You
- Industry Experience is ideal.
- Teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.
- A creative, enthusiastic, dynamic and forward-thinking practitioner.
- The ideal candidate will work well as part of a team and be resilient, adaptable and enthusiastic with experience of the industries.
- You are student-focused, building a supportive and creative environment for students to develop their practical skills.
- We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and would be happy working with people as well as being able to work independently when required.
- A teaching qualification is not essential, but a commitment to develop towards one is.
