The Advice Support Team is responsible for preparingadvice and mid-appointment activity for Financial Advisers, along withsuitability reports where required. The Advice Support team supportFinancial Advisers with complex areas of Financial Advice. The goal is to prepareadvice, complete mid- appointmentactivity and create suitability reports where required, which will be presented to the customer by a Financial Adviser. The skills that will be acquired involve being able toanalyse and interpret investment research for our customers’ investments, complete and interpret tax calculations thus ultimatelyassisting our customers in achieving their financial goals. At any one timeyou’ll be coordinating multiple cases for Financial Advisers which will involve areas of complexity whichrequire excellent analytical skills.
Itgoes without saying you’ll need to be highly organised, with the ability tobalance priorities and worktowards deadlines. You’ll be an excellentcommunicator with the ability to manage expectations and challengestakeholders. An eye for detail and quality is essential with an ability tomaintain high standards. You don’t need to have experience within financialservices at the entry level of our progression scheme although experience isdesirable; however,the ideal candidate will either have obtained or be working towards/willing towork towards their Diploma in Financial Planning. Our progression Scheme iswide reaching and caters for fully qualified individuals as well as entry levelcandidates with a robust skills matrix to ensure we can develop your skills andprogress your career within Financial Advice.
We will consider applicants with varyingcapabilities ranging from trainee level to a qualified planner. The startingsalary for a trainee within this role is £19,750.00; however, your role withinour progression scheme and salary can be discussed and negotiated depending onexperience, in addition to any exams already obtained if working towards orhaving achieved Diploma in Financial Planning.
