Location: Banbury, London, Cardiff, or Belfast – you will be contractually based in the office nearest to you with hybrid working.
Hybrid working: You will be able to work from home and come into the office to collaborate with your team(s) when required. We have flexible core hours, and we don’t believe in a culture of presenteeism. We will discuss what is important to you during the recruitment process.
Salary & Benefits: £46,000 + 10% pension, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, 35 hour working week, up to 13 flexi-days, private medical insurance, life assurance, and much more!

The role
As our Procurement Manager, you will use your public procurement knowledge and experience to provide an effective and comprehensive procurement service to our business teams. You’ll partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure best practice is built into all delivery points for the procurement of high value contracts. You’ll also contribute to the development and implementation of strategic procurement plans that support WRAP’s corporate and programme aims. In addition to this, you’ll develop positive collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels to promote procurement best practice, supporting the development and implementation of training and toolkits to facilitate improved commercial awareness.

Key responsibilities include:
- Working with the Organisation to ensure the most affect Procurement route to market is selected
- Responsible for compliance with Procurement Act 2023 and all internal procedures
- Work with international subsidiaries on their none Public Procurement activities
- Guide and assist the technical teams to create and generate high quality results from procurement activities
Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrable ability to identify and effectively manage commercial risk and contract performance at a senior level
- Experience of managing all aspects of procurement process including market analysis and engagement, financial and risk analysis, tendering, contracting and supplier performance and relationship management
- Knowledge and experience of working within the Public Procurement Regulations, including framework agreements
- Good influencing and negotiation skills, internally and externally at all levels
