This is the job

We’re transforming how data powers our business, and we’re looking for a Data Delivery Manager who can help us deliver high‑quality data solutions across a wide range of strategic initiatives. Whether you’re from a data delivery background or a project management / delivery background, what matters most is your ability to drive outcomes, bring structure, and deliver at pace.

You’ll lead one of our five Data Delivery teams, working with a dedicated team including a Business Analyst, Data Designer, Data Engineers, Testers and a Power BI Test Engineer. While you won’t have formal line management responsibilities, you will provide day‑to‑day leadership, motivation and delivery oversight for your team.

This is a hybrid role where we need someone who has experience of working with different project delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc…

Ideal for someone who is highly adaptable, comfortable with change, and able to switch between large, high‑impact projects and multiple smaller initiatives without compromising quality.

What will I be doing?

  • Leading delivery of data solutions within a larger group‑wide transformation programme.
  • Working across a variety of delivery styles — Agile, Waterfall, Iterative & Hybrid.
  • Managing project plans, RAID logs, dependencies, budgets and reporting activity.
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Managing risks and issues and ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines.
  • Championing and embedding new ways of working as our Data Delivery function evolves.
  • Balancing priorities across large single‑focus programmes or several smaller initiatives.
  • Using or experimenting with AI‑enabled tooling (e.g., Copilot, JIRA Rovo, ChatGPT) to support reporting, delivery plans, and efficiency improvements.

What do I need?

  • 5+ years’ experience in project or delivery management.
  • Strong experience delivering in Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and Hybrid environments.
  • A proven ability to balance multiple streams of work without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning and reporting skills.
  • Comfortable with adopting new tools and approaches — especially AI‑assisted delivery.
