Cake Buyer – Join Our Team of Sweet Specialists!
We’re on the hunt for a Cake Buyer with exceptional taste and a passion for all things baked. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing the most decadent, beautifully crafted cakes — from classic sponges and celebration bakes to indulgent patisserie‑style creations.
You’ll build strong partnerships with artisan bakeries, large‑scale producers, and innovative dessert creators to secure an irresistible range of cakes for our customers. From negotiating pricing on tiramisu trays to ensuring consistent supply of our signature chocolate fudge cake, you’ll play a key part in shaping our sweet offering.
What you’ll do
- Drive sales and profit in line with operating plan budgets
- Drive market share performance
- Lead relationship with suppliers through effective commercial management
- Prepare and agree category plan with Management Team through analysis of customer insight, sales and trends
- Set effective range strategies to optimise selling format and product choice, understanding space requirements
