About us:
The Department of Marketing at King’s Business School is a vibrant and ambitious academic community with 29 academic staff and a thriving doctoral programme. Located in the heart of central London, King’s College London is ranked 3rd in the UK and the top institution in London for Business, Management & Marketing in the 2026 Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide.
Our department contributes to the School’s strong international reputation through rigorous research, high-quality teaching and engagement with industry and policy partners. Our research work is organised through three hubs: Marketing Technology & Behaviour, Responsible Marketing & Consumption, and Marketing for Societal Value. These hubs underpin our seminars, workshops, conferences, practitioner engagement and international collaborations. A new behavioural research lab is also in development, further strengthening our capacity for experimental and interdisciplinary work, as well as opening new avenues for experiential teaching.
Education in the department spans undergraduate, postgraduate, online and executive programmes. We emphasise experiential learning, strong links with industry, inclusive teaching practices and the integration of contemporary research into the classroom. Our portfolio is growing, with a new BSc in Marketing programme and revised curricula designed to further enhance student experience and career readiness.
We are seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Education & Research) in Marketing who will make a strong contribution to our research environment through high-quality publications, an ambitious research pipeline and active engagement with academic and practitioner communities. The successful candidate will also contribute to our marketing programmes through effective, research-informed teaching and thoughtful curriculum development.
