What You’ll Do
As a Research Associate within BCG Vantage’s Global Research Organization (GRO) team, you will be an integral part of our Americas GRO team, supporting the delivery of secondary research and contributing to BCG’s client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives.
Within this role you will ensure delivery of accurate and insights-rich projects with a special focus in Travel, Cities and Infrastructure (TCI) Practice in different sectors, with a special spike on logistics and transportation topics.
You will be supporting the delivery of secondary research, enriching BCG’s client work and internal development initiatives. Your task will often include working side by side with other BCG Vantage colleagues. When assigned with research requests, you will work on gathering data, facts and insights in an email, Excel, PowerPoint and other formats. You will also play an important role in the creation and offering of assets or tools that help make research work more efficient for the team.
You will be introduced to a consulting toolkit and research proficiency, in addition to deep dive into different content areas regarding a variety of sectors within TCI.

What You’ll Bring
- Undergraduate Degree minimum (a preference for a degree in engineering, business administration, economics or related fields)
- 1-2 years relevant working experience (desk research, data analysis, consulting)
- Excellent English and Spanish communication skills; verbal and written.
- Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in most user-friendly format
- Confident with the use of GenAI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, among others) to enhance research results and final outputs
- Proven knowledge on coding platforms (e.g. Phyton, R, etc) that help enhance the different services provided to internal clients
Hybrid role. Candidates should be based in Costa Rican Metropolitan Area.
