Skills and Simulation Tutor – Salford
The University of Salford has a new opportunity available for a registered Nurse to join us as a Simulation and Skills Tutor. The post-holder will join our excellent Nursing team in The School of Health and Sosciety. The ideal candidate will be an NMC-registered Nurse in any field, with a broad range of experience.
You will demonstrate a passion for developing the next generation of Nursing talent and have experience in delivery of high-quality education, creating the best possible student experience.
We deliver various Nursing programmes for a diverse group of learners and as such our team works flexibly, including some evening teaching.
Key Responsbilities
- Developing skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours of nursing students through simulation and skills teaching.
- Design, develop, deliver and evaluate evidence-based teaching material and resources across a range of modules, and programmes of study.
- Contribute to the planning, design and development of course and curriculum objectives and material, ensuring the professional, educational and clinical credibility of simulated practice components.
- Supervise, mark and assess coursework and examinations, providing feedback to nursing students as part of a module team.
