Apply to become an Associate Pro Vice Chancellor (APVC) and Director of one of the Loughborough University Flagship Research Institutes Loughborough University is launching six new Flagship Research Institutes, each designed to accelerate world leading research and innovation and strengthen our global impact. We are inviting internal expressions of interest from exceptional leaders to take on the role of Institute APVC/Director for each of the following Institutes: Institute for Clean Energy Institute for Culture and Society Institute for Digital Futures Institute for Healthy Living Institute for Responsible Manufacturing Institute for Women in Sport These six new senior leadership roles (each at 0.6 FTE) represent an exciting opportunity to shape the vision, identity and impact of our Institutes and to accelerate the University’s ambitions under the 2030 Strategy and Research and Innovation Core Plan. Postholders will join the University Leadership Group (ULG) and be supported by Professional Services staff in the R&I Institutes Team within the Research and Innovation Office (RIO), working in close collaboration with M&A.
