Marketing & Communications Executive (Maternity Cover)
Location: Cross College
Salary: Up to *GBP*32,473.63 per annum, depending on qualifications and expertise.
Contractual Hours: 37.00
Basis: Full time
Are you a digital-savvy communicator with a passion for creative content and data-driven marketing? We’re looking for a proactive, organised Marketing & Communications Executive to help shape how the college is perceived by its key stakeholders. If you’ve got a sharp eye for content, a knack for analysing data, and the confidence to manage multi-channel campaigns — this could be your next move.
You’ll be part of a fast-paced, creative team working across the full marketing mix, with a strong focus on improving and creating content for our websites and digital platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and improving website content to support recruitment and engagement
- Using analytics tools to track performance and optimise campaigns
- Writing creative copy for web, email and print
- Supporting paid and organic social media campaigns
- Helping plan and deliver digital and in-person events
- Contribute to video and email marketing campaigns
What we’re looking for:
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Confidence to create content for web
- A collaborative mindset and ability to manage multiple projects
- A can-do approach to work
Bonus points if you’ve:
- Used GA4, Microsoft Clarity or similar tools to report on campaign success
- Managed or improved website content for SEO and user experience
- Worked on student recruitment or education-focused campaigns

This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, with the successful candidate starting as soon as possible. Successful candidates will need to be able to travel to all college campuses and community events.
