The VMS team is a small friendly dynamic team currently based in Kidlington, and works closely with all service areas within the Council. With each team member supports the various outputs across all aspects of business as usual as the priorities through out the day change on an hourly basis. 

 

About the Role

The Primary purpose of the role is to provide Business Support (administrative and technical) within the Vehicle Management Services team. Maintain, monitor, and update the vehicle fleet and associated management and licensing systems. 

An essential role in the delivery of providing business support to enable VMS to deliver their strategic priorities.  To be the first point of contact for all queries and work requests relating to the corporate support for the Vehicle Management Service.  This includes core areas such as, providing business support to strategic/tactical meetings, and meeting other specific demands for the service such as receipt and disposal of vehicles which would require outside working.

Your office base may be subject to change as we are currently transitioning between temporary and permanent office locations due to the closure of County Hall. If this is applicable to you, you will be notified, but no reimbursement will apply in respect of travel.
