Job Introduction

Bank Prescribing Pharmacist required in Leeds – attractive remuneration package!

We have opportunities for Prescribing Pharmacists to join England’s leading Primary Care Provider’s Bank division, supporting colleagues and practices across Leeds with continuity of care for patients during periods of absence and annual leave.

Main Responsibility

Key duties will include: 

  • Prescribing, online and telephone clinical triage, management of minor illness and LTC advice.
  • Delivering safe, clinical decisions and expert care as well as working collaboratively with all team members of a multi professional team and driving innovation, modernisation and high levels of staff and patient satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate

Interested? What you will need to be considered: 

  • Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Independent prescribing qualification.
  • Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in the prioritisation and decision-making aspects of the role.
  • Previous general practice experience is desirable.
