Middlesbrough Council’s Bereavement Services is offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice. This apprenticeship role provides an excellent foundation to develop essential administrative skills while working within a supportive and dynamic team.
As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience by assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, answering phone calls, scheduling services, and preparing documents for funeral directors and medical experts.
This apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to learn how to handle sensitive information with empathy and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality and providing crucial support to our team and the families we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the team with administrative duties, including record-keeping, data entry, and handling sensitive documents.
Liaise with families and external services, ensuring timely coordination of services.
Assist in preparing documents and scheduling services for funeral directors and medical professionals.
Learn and uphold confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism in a sensitive environment.
