Catering Assistant – Booker Distribution
This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new team in a newly opened canteen at Booker Distribution Centre in Fareham. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality food service to our colleagues in a fast-paced and friendly environment.

key Responsibilities:
- Support the daily operation of the canteen, providing both hot and cold food options to staff.
- Work collaboratively as part of a small, dedicated team of catering assistants.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation, serving, and restocking throughout the day.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to all colleagues using the canteen facilities.
- Cooking experience is essential
- An excellent attitude towards customer service with a friendly outgoing personality and be used to working within a team environment. 　
- A high standard of presentation and the ability to work within a team producing and serving a varied menu to colleagues and visitors on site
- The ideal candidate will be required to prepare, cook and serve food along with cleaning duties and stock vending machines. 　
The Hours for this role are Monday – Friday 12pm-8pm
Shift Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (Any 5 from 7 – Monday – Friday 12pm – 8pm)
Salary: 13.31
