Join Us as an Ingka Centres Construction Project Manager – Retail RefurbishmentsABOOUT THE ROLE:As a Ingka Centres Construction Project Manager (Client Representative) you will manage UK retail refurbishment projects, ensuring safe, complaints, on-time, and on-budget delivery within live trading environments. You’ll uphold brand, operational, and statutory requirements, reporting directly to the Project Development Manager. WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY TO DAY:• Manage permits, consents, and statutory compliance (UK Building Regulations, CDM 2015).• Develop cost estimates, control budgets, and manage variations.• Oversee design and technical management for refurbishment projects.• Support procurement and contract strategy using UK-appropriate forms (e.g., JCT).• Plan projects to minimize disruption in live trading environments.• Ensure construction oversight, quality assurance, and manage risks.• Champion Health, Safety Environmental Management.• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage smooth handovers to Operations.• WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: • 5-10 years’ experience in construction project management, with significant UK retail refurbishment experience.• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in live trading or occupied environments, client-side.• Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Building Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, or similar.• Solid working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CDM 2015.• Demonstrated capability in coordinating stakeholders, understanding commercial impacts, and handling risk.• MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, NEBOSH Construction Certificate, JCT contracts training.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: • Apply Now – Provide us with your CV and a short Cover Letter.• Shortlisted candidates will be invited by email to attend an interview.• Competitive starting salary from £60,000 plus a car cash allowance, and on top the full benefits package, Pension, Life in Critical Death Cover, Private medical and Dental Cover and many more. • Full-Time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.• Location: Service Office Principles – Hybrid working, 12 days’ workplace presence, of which 8 must be in the Service Office.How to Apply:• Attach an updated CV with your application.• Virtual interview with hiring manager.• Face-to-face interview with recruiting/hiring manager.We are unable to accept applications made via email.
