Job Title: Consulting Manager – Capital Markets, Investment Management Platforms

About the Job you are considering:

Consultants will either lead or be part of the platform implementation and consulting team. Their contributions include defining client requirement, configuring and turning application to the client’s business and technical needs.

Ensure the solution developed platform vendors (Such as Charles River IM) meets the requirements and client undertakes the ownership to operate the solution after go-live

Assist other team members either withing the assigned module or outside of the module to promote best practices of implementing the software

 

Hybrid working: 

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.


Your Role:

  • Full ownership of the implementation of workstreams or modules assigned like the Front office modules including, Manager workbench, trading or operations and compliance
  • Discuss, describe and document the exact requirements from client and configure the software systems to exactly match the requirement
  • Understand the client-side process and suggest changes to workflows on software systems to accommodate client specific requirements
  • Plan and execute the third-party data, analytics integration. Set-up APIs for leading vendors include MSCI, Bloomberg and Axioma
  • Configure the end-to-end trade & order management workflow including broker mapping, markets and other supporting set-up for seamless trading.
  • Configure regulatory compliance requirements across various asset classes and trading.
  • Set up workflows to comply with internal risk & compliance requirements
  • Maintain positive rapport with client representatives, users and senior project officials
  • Schedule and conduct regular project meetings with client to update on progress, discuss issues and agree on solutions
  • Contribute to training the end users of the software applications, guide and direct the users to adapt best practices for most effective outcomes from the application
  • Provide feedback from users to core product team for improvements to the current offerings
  • Keep abreast with financial technological developments and their impact on the products and services offered


Your Skills:

  • Proficiency in data base querying with SQL and run analytics, identifying errors and recommend edits/ debugs to the code
  • The ideal candidate will have 5 year or more hands-on experience in financial industry and demonstrable expertise across Front, middle and back-office operations of investment management or asset management systems. The candidate will possess working knowledge of CRIMS or similar market leading investment management systems like Think folio, Aladdin etc.
  • Full understanding of business processes and the supporting technological system associated with pre-trade and post trade workflows, complete knowledge of trade life cycle.  Additional expertise in either Investment Book of Records or Trade reconciliation will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to equity, fixed income, derivatives and OTC trading venues.
