As an Employee Relations Advisor at Pick Everard, you will provide expert guidance and support on employee relations matters, ranging from policy advice to informal cases, formal procedures, and complex issues.You will play a key role in promoting positive working relationships and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations matters, including policy advice, informal cases, formal procedures, and complex issues.
- Promote positive working relationships and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Advise managers and employees on resolving conflicts, managing performance, conduct, and attendance concerns.
- Contribute to the development of People policies and practices.
- Supporting with the upskilling of line managers and other value add projects.
- Support workforce development and design, leading workplace restructure and reorganization as we continue our growth journey.
- Play a crucial role in developing our culture of high performance and safety as a responsible employer.

About You
- Proven experience as an Employee Relations Advisor or in a similar role, handling complex employee relations matters within an organisation
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR policies and practices
- Strong understanding of conflict resolution techniques and mediation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees and management at all levels
- Ability to conduct thorough and objective investigations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and prioritise work effectively.
- Resilient individual who has a genuine passion for employee relations
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a CIPD qualification (Desirable)
