Position: Facilities Manager
Location: One Tower Bridge, London, SE1 2QX
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700
Salary: £53,000 – £58,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Development Details:
This role will be based at the beautiful One Tower Bridge development located on the South Bank of the River Thames. The development has 374 residential apartments and benefits from several amenities such as a leisure suite with spa, a gym, and commercial businesses including theatre and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a Facilities Manager at Rendall & Rittner:
- You will have a strong Health and Safety and Compliance background having managed the hard services, plant rooms / energy centres, multiple contractors for your buildings.
- Supervise the M&E contract to ensure that the contractor is performing satisfactorily to KPIs.
- You’ll ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and ensure statutory compliance.
- You have high level contractor management experience, managing a range of different contractors and specialist throughout the process and ensuring quality, value and deliverance. This includes maintaining the spa and gym facilities, managing the M&E contracts as well as CCTV, access control, window cleaning, landscaping, fountain maintenance etc.
- Oversee the daily management of the Facilities department including daily management of contractors and technical works.
- You will be computer literate with experience working on BMS systems and general software’s such as Microsoft packages.
- You have experience managing PPM’s and actioning any remedials as required.
- You will have demonstratable experience in supporting with onsite project management, this includes supervising contractors, risk management, RAMS, permits to work etc.
- Assist the Estate Manager with completing the annual internal H&S Benchmarking Self-Assessment audit.
- Manage and coordinate the reactive maintenance desk. Dealing with all maintenance issues concerning the residential and commercial units.
- M&E weekly checks – Mechanical, Electrical, Landscape Plant rooms, Tank rooms etc. and associated admin.
- You’ll have managed customers, assisting with queries and responding to any complaints.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information, dealing with issues and queries with utmost professionalism.
- Take responsibility for the permit to work system- creation, authorisation and closure.
- Ordering of maintenance stock, and supplies for the estate, office and welfare facilities
- Updating and maintaining Health and Safety files and COSHH folders.
- You will have the IOSH Managing Safely qualification and will either have the professional NEBOSH qualification, or will be willing and able to obtain within the first year of employment.
