At Tees Community Equipment Service, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals in our community. We provide essential disability equipment that helps people live safely and independently at home. Our range of equipment includes walking frames, commodes, hoists, bath lifts, chairs, beds, and mattresses.

Are you enthusiastic about physical work and enjoy making a difference in people’s lives? We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Assistant / Equipment Cleaner In this role, you will clean and refurbish equipment that is issued to people in the community, designed to assist them in living safely and independently in their own homes.

You will play an important part in maintaining our high levels of service and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and refurbish a variety of equipment designed to support people’s independence.

Handle continuous physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment

Perform basic DIY tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order

Operate a computer, mobile device, or scanner to track and manage inventory Adhere to all cleaning and safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment

Requirements:

Enthusiasm for physical work involving lifting and carrying

Experience in cleaning duties and a keen understanding of cleanliness standards Ability to operate a computer and mobile device/scanner

Basic DIY skills for minor repairs and equipment maintenance
