As a Registered Nurse with us, you’ll be part of an
interdisciplinary team delivering high quality nursing and general care across 24hour
services. You will promote independence, wellbeing, and dignity while ensuring
safe, effective clinical practice in line with the NMC Code.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
General Duties
- Working
collaboratively across teams to support Salutem’s strategic goals. - Delivering
outstanding customer service and adhering to quality frameworks. - Following
all organisational policies and procedures.
Clinical & Role Specific Duties
- Maintaining
professional development aligned with NMC standards. - Ensuring
safe handling, administration, and storage of medications. - Providing
evidence based clinical care, including procedures such as
catheterisation, PEG/tracheostomy management, and NG tube care. - Upholding
safeguarding responsibilities for children and adults. - Maintaining
accurate clinical and organisational records in line with NMC and data
protection regulations. - Supporting
the Service Manager with supervision, mentoring, and development of
support staff. - Promoting
safe environments through health & safety, infection control, and risk
management. - Building
effective relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary
teams. - Delivering
person ‑centred care planning, health promotion, and effective transition
management. - Participating
in clinical supervision, audits, training, and continuous service
improvement. - Supporting
recruitment, induction, and staff meetings.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Registered
Nurse qualification with active NMC registration. - Knowledge
of the NMC Code and legislation relating to disability, mental health, or
physical health needs. - Experience
supporting vulnerable adults in residential, day service, youth work, or
similar environments. - Strong
communication and relationship building skills. - Ability
to reflect on practice and work effectively within a team. - Flexibility
to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins. - A
full driving licence.
Desirable:
- Personal
or professional experience relating to challenges faced by vulnerable
adults.
