Overview

At Trustpilot, we’re on an incredible journey. We’re a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world’s largest independent consumer review platform, and while we’ve come a long way, there’s still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!

As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical and consultative partner to the New Business and Account Management teams – enabling large customers to understand and realize the value of Trustpilot’s platform during the sales process. You move beyond tactical support to become a trusted advisor, bridging technology and business outcomes to ensure every deal is both commercially and technically sound.

Your mission is to architect technical success by translating complex customer needs into tailored solutions, designing scalable integration approaches, and delivering the technical credibility that drives confidence and conversion. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where success is measured by deal conversion rates, technical win rates, and the quality of handover to implementation.

This position can be held in either our Hamburg, Copenhagen or Amsterdam location.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to uncover deep customer needs, system environments, and complex integration requirements.
  • Develop clear, scalable solutions that meet business objectives and align with technical feasibility.
  • Deliver tailored demos and presentations that articulate Trustpilot’s value, flexibility, and ROI to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead and support pilot programs to validate functionality, integration, and measurable impact prior to contract signature.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, proactively resolving technical blockers and answering complex system questions.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams to ensure solution integrity and a seamless transition post-sale.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for proposed solutions and specific integration requirements to ensure long-term customer success.
  • Capture recurring customer feedback and technical insights to inform global product development and roadmap prioritization.

Who you are:

  • Fluent in English plus at least another language (e.g. German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Danish, Swedish)
  • You have proven experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical advisory roles within a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Strong technical foundation with an understanding of APIs, web integrations, data flows, and common SaaS architecture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into tangible business value for large, complex organizations.
  • Customer-centric and commercially aware, with a strong ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
  • Comfortable managing multiple sales opportunities and diverse stakeholders simultaneously.
  • An organized, proactive team player who is motivated by solving customer challenges through innovative technology.
  • Experience collaborating effectively across Sales, Product, and Customer Success functions.

What’s in it for you:

  • Real ownership: influence how we grow in a top-priority region.
  • Competitive compensation package + bonus
  • 20 days holiday with an additional 8 days after 6 months of continuous employment
  • 2 (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community
  • Rich learning and development opportunities supported through the Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist
  • Benefit-in-kind of 44€ a month, which can be used for a range of purposes such as private healthcare, accommodation, a company car, a gym membership, an interest-free loan, travel expenses, or any other expense
  • Health benefit of 50€ a month which you can use to spend on anything that supports positive health
  • Full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app-based service designed to promote positive mental health and access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Plan
  • Prime location with stunning views of the Alster in a brand-new office space

Still not sure?

We want to be a part of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world of work for all. We’re excited to hear about your experiences along with how you will contribute to our working culture. Even if you don’t feel you meet all the requirements, we’d still really like to hear from you!
